In today's lesson, we looked at movement and transitions in animations.
We started by making two different scenes in Illustrator to import into After Effects. I decided on my childhood favourite stories, Winnie The Pooh, as I remembered that there was an image of Piglet with a balloon and thought I could make him fly. I then thought about the Hundred Acre Woods from the story and thought about drawing the top of the balloon moving around over the map of the woods.
Making the transition was the easiest and fastest piece to create, I just drew a few leaves then copied them again and again to cover the whole of the frame then used keyframes to move it across.
This is my final animation. After spending so much time on my first scene, I ran out of time to create the second scene so in the end I had to end the animation after the scene transition.
